I am currently working as a lay Chaplain in Skerries Community College, County Dublin, in the Archdiocese of Dublin, Ireland.
I was Head of Religious Education in a Catholic High School in Liverpool, England. It was there that I developed an idea that I had when I first began teaching - to make the passion of Christ relevant to the lives of young people...and to inspire and challenge all who came to take part in what became "Peter's Passion".
It was first performed in March 1987 and every year after that until I left Liverpool in 1999. I am endebted to the many young people (and not so young!) people who said 'yes' to me in helping to produce this musical meditation.
In July 2002, I decided to take a sample of the work and record it on CD. I called the sample "Behold the Man". In 2006, I went back into the studio and recorded the full album "Peter's Passion" A musical love story..... A book containing music and narrative is now available too. I am happy to offer support to any teachers/parishes who wish to develop 'Peter's Passion' in their own situation.
